BALLOT
Members
are aware of the proposal of a transfer of engagements to the EIS. This
matter will be decided upon by a ballot of SFHEA members.
If
you have not received any information regarding the ballot at your home
address over the past few months this is because the SFHEA Office does
not have an up-to-date address for you. Please advise the Office immediately
of your current address to ensure that you receive the ballot documentation.
The
ballot will open on 25 August and close on 15 September.
The
National Executive Committee of the SFHEA is strongly recommending that
members vote YES in the ballot. The Committee is firmly of the view
that this is the way forward and the negotiated transitional arrangements
will pave the way for the continued representation of SFHEA members
and their views.
It
is VITAL that all members vote in the ballot. Please ensure that you
do so.
If
you do not receive the ballot documentation contact the SFHEA Office
IMMEDIATELY.
